LONDON: The Saudi ambassador to the UK met with the deputy commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force at the Saudi embassy in London on Wednesday.
Prince Khalid bin Bandar hosted Major General Pilot Talal Al-Ghamdi, who is heading the Defense Ministry’s delegation to the Farnborough International Airshow.
The show is a trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries, where civilian and military aircraft are demonstrated to potential customers and investors.
The event is taking place between July 18-22 and is the first edition of the air show, which alternates with Paris, since 2019. Rising defense spending will be in focus amid the war in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the importance of mutual visits and developing and strengthening joint cooperation was discussed.
The latest innovations in the world of aviation, aerospace, and defense industries that were on display at the show were also reviewed.
